Imagine speeding across your local stretch of lake, river, sea, or ocean with nothing but the power of the wind to push you along! This can be you!
STARTING windsurfing has never been so easy. Gone are the old 5m long "planks" of boards that used to be the norm! Gone also are the triangular sails that weighed 100 tonnes to lift when they were wet!
With our complete beginner packages, you are ensured the best possible start into the world of windsurfing. This beginner windsurfing package is ideal for all the "small-ies" to also learn with.
We`re not going to complicate things here, by telling you exactly which part we have included in the package - that detail is at the bottom of this page if you want it. This package is the best equipment available for what you need to get started and has been hand picked by the Irish Windsurfing Champion...for you and your family. And most importantly, you save a lot of money by buying a package, as opposed to the individual components.
Ok, so using the drop down menus at the top of the page, we`ve made it simple to pick out your first set of windsurfing kit!
Assuming you are starting from scratch and know nothing about windsurfing, or maybe tried it once, but want to start over...
- If you weigh less than 65kg, select the Small Package
- If you weigh 65-85kg, select the Medium Package
- If you weigh more than 85kg, select the Large Package
If your kids are going to give it a go also, you`ll need to add a small sail for them to use. Again assuming they have never windsurfed, order the Junior Rig as follows...
- Kids aged 3-5, select the Small Junior Rig
- Kids aged 5-10, select the Medium Junior Rig
- Kids aged 10-15, select the Large Junior Rig
If you have 2 children of different ages, pick the size for the older child...the younger child will grow into it.
Thats it! You`ve just picked out your first windsurf package! Now click "Add to Cart" and proceed to checkout!

For those folks "in the know"...
...this package uses the Starboard Rio Windsurfing board, the Tushingham Express Sail, a Tushingham Carbon 45% mast, a Radz Deckplate and mast extension, and an Aeron Boom. Sail sizes are 4.5m for the small, 5.5m for the medium and large packages. Junior rigs are Tushingham Starts: 1.5m for small, 2.5m for medium and 3.5m for large.
