SUP paddle blades are hydrodynamically designed to be as efficient as possible and you want to keep their efficiency. When by accident the paddle blade impacts the rail of your board, tha paddle and the board can be easily damaged.

So you have three options...1) Try to forget about your new board and paddle being chipped, or 2) protect you paddle blade only, in turn losing a great amount of efficiency from your paddle, or 3) install one of our rail savers.

Our SUP board rail savers come in two pieces of semi-rigid PVC to fit any style of board. We tested lots of prototypes and unanimously decided to have Rail Saver Pro build these for us.

Measuring 191cm long and 6.3cm wide, they are developed to compliment any SUP board. Made from a semi-rigid PVC, they feature a lenticular pattern surface that is highly resistant to impact and abrasion. It has a good ability to adapt to simple curves and allows repositioning, thus facilitating placement on another board if you need to. The reduced thickness also allows for unnoticeable drag.
