Sharp, fast and very sensitive to footsteering, no matter whether the wind is gusty or the waves mushy, the RRD Wave Cult is the range of wave boards that will work everywhere.
They excel when the conditions are firing, but also let you rip when the conditions are only average.
This is the board you can take on to any wave!
Sizes
Wave Cults are available in three sizes of 75, 83 and 92 litres.
Fin and constructions...
The Wave Cults are available from bigsurf.ie in single fin and quad fin, both in the excellent LTD construction, and new for 2012 as a quad fin but with a lighter pro level construction known as "Contest Quad".
As a single fin, they allow you maximum grip and control, supreme speed and long flowing wave riding styles. The single fin gives you lots of speed to "punch out" in onshore conditions.
As a quad fin, they give you a much looser bottom turn and very sharp, slashy top turns. We liken it to a quad on a shortboard surf board...slashy! They also track upwind and plane really well, given all the fin surface area and the slightly less rocker on these boards compared to the RRD Hard Core range.
The quads can also be used as a twin fin...blank out the side bites, and use slightly bigger twin fins...for a more slidey style of wave riding typical to twin fin boards.
