This is the "best of the best" when it comes to windsurfing rope. 12 strand, tightly braided Dyneema, SK75 rope from Marlow.

This rope is suitable for use by beginners right up to professionals! There is simply nothing better!

Advantages are:
- Lightweight, so reduces weight of the rig
- High strength and durable - will not break
- High performance rope for windsurfers
- Average break load is 619kg.
- Diameter is 3.8mm (ideal for windsurf cleats)

BIGSURF OPINION
This is fantastic rope for your downhauls and outhauls. To give you an idea, Pearse`s 9.0m race sail would go through a length of ordinary downhaul rope every time it was rigged! Formuline has upto 3 times the breaking strength of ordinary rope. Using Marlow, the same rope lasted over 30 times with little or no wear!

It also drastically reduces the effort required to downhaul a sail. An average windsurfer could downhaul a medium sized wave sail by hand using this rope! (although we still recommend using a downhauler to protect your hands!)

BIGSURF CHOICE
We suggest 2m for downhaul and 1m for outhaul. If you do manage to wear the downhaul (after a lot of use!) you can cut that bit off and the remainder of the rope will still last you a very long time!

We cut our lengths with a hot knife, so no ravelling at the ends. We cut them so they are ready for use...you won`t need to be messing about with lighters and matches to try and shape the ends...we do that for you.
