Started Windsurfing:
In 2000, when I was 14

Favorite Windsurfer:
On the waves I`d say Keith Teboul and Levi Siver because they make it look effortless and both have such a unique fluid style. In freestlye  Brawzinho makes everything look so fluent and easy and in women`s sailing I think Laure Treboux is incredible, she`s just so graceful and stylish.

Favourite Discipline:
Wavesailing

Favourite Move Completed:
Forward loop

Favourite Move to watch:
Big push loops, doubles, goiters and massive aerials.

Favourite Windsurf Spot:
Anywhere on the West coast of Ireland; Belmullet, Louisberg, Fanore……so many! And Margaret River in Western Oz ( but getting there`s a little trickier than getting to Lahinch for a quick session!)

Favourite Windsurf Video:
The Windsurfing Movie and Greenie, solid footage from home with the Mullen brothers!

Current kit:
MauiSails Legends, my Twin Fin RRD & surfboard

Memorable bigsurf moment:
During the Margaret River wave comp the swell was really big and growing. By the time the lady’s heat was run the waves were breaking over mast high. We all headed out and on my first run back in I lined up on one of the biggest waves of my life. No doubt there was some serious luck involved in my timing but I managed to ride it and come away unscathed! It felt sick! Then of course I got taken out by a tiny rush of white water on the way back in and ruined all my credibility……..so typical!!

Funny windsurfing moment:
I`ve had so many I can`t even count! I`m always a good source of entertainment for everyone watching on the beach. I`ve sailed with my fin in backwards, all the lads saw me put it in the wrong way but still let me sail with it. I`m always going for moves that I have no chance of landing and crash spectacularly out of. A few weeks ago I had landed a forward and was going for a second glory attempt, went up, let go, foot stuck in my strap, I ghosted out of it and landed head first on a very shallow reef, apparently I had the whole beach in stiches. Glad to know I can entertain!
